Our Way is the second album from Helveticus, the trio of drummer Daniel Humair, bassist Heiri Känzig, and trombonist Samuel Blaser. Three generations, three Swiss cities, one conversation: the group navigates thirteen pieces spanning Thelonious Monk and Duke Ellington, Swiss folk melodies, and original compositions, all given wholly personal readings. Their first album 1291 established the concept; Our Way deepens it, the result of musicians who have spent enough time together to interact with genuine spontaneity.
